to optimize image colour and intensity quality
- adjust your monitor “contrast” to “100”
- reduce your monitor “brightness” (to enhance image colour intensity), to the lowest level before your images appear too dark…note that this level can be anything from “100” down to “40” depending upon your CRT / LCD monitor and graphics card
to remove browser toolbars
- hit F11 key…and escape by rehitting the F11 key
- for XP activate “autohide” by rightclicking on the icon bar, and checking the “autohide” box
- for “mozilla firefox” go to tools / extensions / kiosk browsing / autohide
- after downloading and installing activate all necessary toolbar window autohides
match viewing resolution to your operating resolution
- check your operating resolution at my computer / control panel / display / settings
- match your viewing resolution from 800 by 600, 1024 by 768, 1280 by 1024
